New Year´s Resolutions
I have never made New Year´s resolutions so far, as I think they are generally not very likely to be fufilled. But, this year I decided to make an exception and write a post about my New Year´s resolutions, i.e. my plans for the next year (mostly business-wise). The reason for that is that I usually tend to be kind of disorganized and I think having a list that precisely determines your goals, can help you acheive them more easily.
So, let´s start!
1. I´d like to move my blog to another platform. I´ve been considering Squarespace or Spacecraft ( I know they sound similar :D). They are both powerful platforms and very easy to use. Right now I´m on Wix. The reason I want to change is partially because of the SEO reasons, and partially because I think Wix is better for websites and not blogs. I am pretty limited when it comes to widgets for example ( I can´t add widgets directly to my blog post). So, yeah.
2. I will finish my education in Social Media Marketing and Marketing in general. I´d also like to start my own business as a freelance digital marketer or find a job in that industry as I really started to enjoy doing it. It´s really creative and it has a lot to do with art and design, things I´ve always been interested in.
3. I´d also like to expand my blog and start guest posting or writing for an (online) magazine. I think that would be pretty cool, as I love writing!
4. Work harder on the aesthetical part of the blog, develope a style guide and strenghten the overall brand.
5. Finish the experimental pop album I´m working on, and work more on performing live.
6. I would also like to get into event management and organize art/music events. I really enjoy it and I think it´s a very interesting and dynamic job!
7. Try to connect with people more and not always try to do everything by myself. People are a great asset that I sometimes don´t recognize.
8. I´d also maybe like to start my own Younique cosmetics business! This is something I have been ponedring about this year, but I still haven´t made up my mind. I think that would fit very good into my brand. And it´s natural make up, made with minerals - which is good!
9. Earn a nice amount of money so that I can travel more!
10. Have fun! :)
