14 Christmas Gift Ideas for HER
So, I´d like to start my Christmas Gifts Edition today with this articles about gift ideas for HER - your mom, grandma, aunt, sister, cousin, friend, girlfriend etc. It´s a broad spectrum, I know! And not everyone has the same taste, but I´ll hope you´ll get some inspiration from this article! :)
1. Bags
Woman love bags. Well, first and foremost we have to carry them with us all the time, so it´s natural that a woman would want to pick her bag carefully. A perfect bag must look nice, fit the personality of the woman and fit well with the clothes she´s wearing. A safe bet of course is to go with a black bag, because it fits with everything, but for this article, I decided to go a bit funky, so check out some of the bags by the brand Le Petits Joueurs! (Trust me, it took me like 5 tries to write the last word correctly :D).
2. Wallets
Pretty much the same as with bags. The wallet generally needs to fit with the bag. But, a cool one that stands out will always be a nice surprise!
3. Key Chains
A cute key chain will also do the trick :)
4. Make Up Products
Every woman will be thrilled with a new make up product added to her collection! But, you must be careful because women are usually very knowledgable about this subject. She probably read a ton of reviews in magazines or blogs and watched a million of YouTube tutorials....just to let you know :D A nail polish or a lipstick is a perfect choice though! Here I have chosen a nail polish in the Christmas color - red. It´s very festive and elegant! You can´t go wrong with a red nail polish or a red lipstick!
5. Ponchos, Wraps & Cardigans
They look nice and keep us warm in this cold winter time!
6. Perfume
A perfume is always a nice gift for a woman. Some women prefer "heavier" tones, whereas others prefer "light", "fresh" tones. Try to find out what kind of perfume does your woman like and go for it!
7. Scarves
A scarf is also a very nice gift!
8. Candels
Woman love candels for some reason. It´s romantic, sets a nice atmosphere and smells good! So, go ahead and buy a nice looking (and nice - smelling :D) candle! This scented candles by Fornasetti are a great gift!
9. Jewelry
Ta daaam! We came to THE gift. Every woman (okay, MOST women :P) will be happy with some piece of jewelry. Such as a nice necklace!
10. Notebook/Planner
Girls usually write a lot and like to keep organized, so a nice looking notebook or a planner is really a great gift!
11. Cellphone case
A cool case to decorate her cellphone? Thumbs up!
10. Nice looking hot water bottle
Well, it´s well known that woman often experience pain and it´s also well known that woman often feel cold (they exhibit less body heat than men). So, I think a hot water bottle with a nice design is a really cool (and practical) gift!
12. Chocolate
I don´t know any woman who doesn´t like chocolate! Pralines are a standard great gift. Period.
13. Book
To be honest, it´s difficult for me to recommend a book for a woman. There are a lot of woman who love reading novels, so with than you can´t go wrong. Some woman like popular romance novels though, but others find them cheesy and prefer something more "intellectual". Some woman, like myself don´t really like novels, but prefer to read popular science or educational books. So, it´s really individual.
14. Personal gift
Think about the woman you are buying the gift for. What are her hobbies or interests? Does she like to travel? Buy her a ticket to her favourite destination! Is she a musician or a music fan? Buy her a CD or a piece of music equipment. Does she like art? Buy her a biography of her favourite artist....Choices are limitless!
