What to buy to your grandma for a birthday?

My grandmother´s birthday is coming closer, so I thought I´d write an article about what to buy to your beloved granny on that special day :)

So here we go!

1. Little black dress

Litlle black dress is a classic when it comes to female fashion and is the perfect choice for woman of all ages, but when you are buying a dress for your granny, you should take into account her age, but also her personal style. My granny has a very classy style, so for her I would choose a dress such as on the picture above (Victoria Beckham Pleated Dress).

2. Perfume

A nice perfume always works well. I would go for: Chanel No. 5, Betty Barcley - Precious Moments, Burburry - My Burburry or Marcel Rochas - Femme

3. Lipstick

A nice red lipstick is also a classic. I´d go for something more vintage looking like Marcel Rochas Lipstick in the original packaging from 1940.

4. Book

Grannies love to read in their spare time, so I´d suggest buying a nice and entertaining book, such as „Chocolate for a woman´s heart“ or a book about gardening.

5. Coffee/Tea set or baking set

Grannies usually love to drink coffee or tea, and bake cookies, so buy her a coffee set, or a baking set. Buy her a cake, or better yet bake a cake yourself! Your granny will definately appreciate it!

6. Items for her favourite hobby

Think about what your granny likes to do in her free time. Does she like to take care of her cats? Does she like to knit? Is she really into arts and crafts? Or maybe she really likes gardening? Buy her a new canvas, food for her pets or a pair of fancy gardening gloves.

7. Music

You grandma probably has her favourite singer, so buy her a CD of her favourite singer, or a documentary film about him on a DVD. My granny loves Elvis Presley, so something about him would be very cool.

8. Shoes

A nice shoes are also a great gift. You can go for stilletos for example, but I would go for a short heal, not higher than 5 cm.

9. A trip/Quality Time

Take her on a trip to her favourite place. It can be something small, like taking her out to her favourite cafe, walk with her around the neighbourhood or put her in the car and take her to her favourite city or maybe a place where she loved to go to when she was a child.

10. A framed picture of you and grandma

Grannies like and cherrish their memories. Take a nice picture of yourself and your grandma and put in in a nice frame. She will most certainly love it!
