Una was born on the 4 of September 1987 in Zagreb, Croatia. When she was two years old, she moved with her parents to a small city, Ulm, in Germany, where she has spent her entire childhood. Her family decided to send her back to Croatia when she was 7 years old, to finish her education there. She lived there with her grandparents and her aunt, but has often visited her parents in Germany. Una has been creative since a very young age. She started writing songs at the age of 11. She also wrote short stories and choreographed music performances with her cousins and friends during their school breaks at her grandparents land in the mountains. She attended a classical elementary music school "Vatroslav Lisinski", where she studied classical piano for six years. She has also attended various visual art schools, drama and dance classes. Somewhat bored by her piano lessons, her interest in it was rewoken by Alicia Keys and her album "Songs in A-minor". She got interested in learning how to play jazz, soul, pop and rock on the piano. At the age of 15, she attended a pop and rock school "Rock Akademija" in Zagreb, where she continued studying piano and learning how to play in a band.

 

When she was 18 years old, she was discovered by a fashion scout Tihana Harapin-Zalepugin of the modeling agency Talia Model, while shopping for her prom dress. Soon after that, she started a successful international modeling career, having shooted for Elle, Cosmopolitan, Grazia, Glamour and Burda Style, among many others. She also participated in Ford Supermodels of the World competition in 2008. 

 

2011, she finishes her economy studies and decides to return to music. She moves back to Germany to work on her music career. She takes singing lessons with the teacher and singer/songwriter Jens Blockwitz. February 2, 2015. she releases her debut single "To you".

 

Musically, she is influenced by various artists, ranging from classical, like Chopin, Debussy or Satie, to popular, like Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Toni Braxton, etc. Growing up in two different countries also effected her musicianship because she was also influenced by popular local artist. A contact she made in the music industry said that, "the fact that she has a classical background, means that her singing can be very out-of-the box without actually employing a classical style."

 

She is a huge art lover and loves to engage in all art forms, like painting, photography, dancing, or writing. Her other huge love is psychology.
